Dan Atkinson, the owner of Atkinson
General Contracting, has 30 years of
experience in building homes.  He began
as a carpenter apprentice in 1972 and
worked his way up, gaining valuable
experience in all areas of local home
building.  Dan founded Atkinson GC in
1988, and has been building 3-5 custom
homes per year ever since.
     Dan meets with every client,
personally oversees the development
of the plans, estimates costs, and
personally oversees the actual home
construction.
     Dan believes in giving back to the
local community, donating his talents
to such projects as constructing kids'
playhouses for "Make A Wish," and
assisting with "Christmas in April,"
fixing up homes for low-income families.
He has also been a volunteer fire fighter
since 1982.
